The story

Training and kit for the community

Aotearolla started where every good thing on the mat does: with a community. Born in The Coromandel, it grew from a simple idea - to make premium jiu jitsu apparel that reflects where we train, who we train with, and the culture around the sport.

Alongside the gear, Aotearolla offers specialist private training and seminars with three-time NZ National Champion Aaron Wills, bringing focused coaching and quality apparel under one banner.

Wherever you train, if you back what we’re building, we’d love to have you along for the ride.

One-on-one or as a group

Aaron Wills is a Brazilian jiu jitsu brown belt, coach and accomplished competitor with experience across New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

Through Aotearolla, Aaron offers practical, focused coaching for individuals, groups and teams.

Aaron's coaching is built around clear instruction and techniques you can put into practice straight away, whether you're competing or simply looking to improve your jiu jitsu.

We can also come to your venue on request.
